El hospital de noche parece un nido de luciérnagas. Puntos luminosos que emergen de las linternas de el personal, pacientes, familiares (que duermen a la fresca sobre sus alfombras o paños) y enfermeros.
Los paseos por Bébédjia a partir de las 18, son de risa. Sin farolas que iluminen la carretera y calles, resulta imposible caminar sin chocarse con algún paisano (¡os digo que no se les ve!) o meterse en una zanja si no fuera por las linternillas.
La oscuridad aquí es abisal. Es alucinante cómo son capaces de trabajar y de reconocerse los unos a los otros en plena calle.
